We Believe:
...that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. We believe we have His preserved Word in the English language of the Bible known as the King James or Authorized Edition- which is our sole authority for all manners of faith and pratice. (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:16-21.)
... that there is one God, who eternally exists in three distinct persons each equal in attributes and power- God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ,) and God the Holy Spirit (Exodus 20:2-3; I Corinthians 8:6; I John 5:7.)
---that God created all that exists in six literal days and continues to be actively involved in His creation (Genesis 1 and 2; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16-17.)
...in the diety of our Lord Jesus Christ; in His virgiin birth; in His sinless humanity; in His miracles; in His vicarious and atoning death; in His bodily resurrection; snd in His willingness to save all who will call upon Him (John 1:1; John 10:30; II Corinthians 5:19 & 21; I Peter 2:22.)
...in the pre-tribulational, pre-millennial, personal and bodily return of Jesus Christ- which is :the blessed hope" or "rapture" of the church (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 19:11-21.)
...that the church is a local, visible assembly of saved persons who have been baptized by immersion after their salvation experience. We believe that each church is an independent, self-governing body with no other ecclesiastical body authority over it. (Matthew 18:15-17; I Corinthians 1:2, 6:4-5, 11:16; I Timothy 3:1-15.)
...the salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior. We believe that a person must repent of his or her sins in order to receive this gift of salvation. We believe that all persons are dead in sin from their birth and must be born-again by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary (Luke 13:3-5; John 3:16-18; Acts 20:21; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:8-9.)
...that all who trust Jesus Christ for salvation are eternally secure in Him and shall never perish. (John 3:16, 36; John 5:24; John 10:27-30; Romans 8:35-39.)
...in separaing from current ternds, groups, and philosophies which undermine the authority and authenticity of the Bible and its teachings- this includes Neo-orthodoxy, Neo-evangelicalisn, the modern tounge movement and Ecumenical movement. (Jude 3; II Corinthians 6:14-7:1; II John 9-11)
